What I find common in Kim Fielding's works is the extravagant world building that gives life to the literature. Treasure is no exception: set in a world of fantasy, pirates, imps and magic! The main character, Julian, is a sickly and shy 25 year old man who has no experience in the outside world. When a summer vacation away from the city is arranged, Julian stumbles upon the beginning of his own adventure that rivals the ones from the many books he has read.
Definitely a worthy read!
